How Selection Works
We select on three pillars—Merit, Ambassadorship, and Need—because performance matters, character matters, and access matters. Applications are scored with a clear rubric and reviewed by multiple coaches to reduce bias.
Three pillars (with brief blurbs):
• Merit & Potential – Consistency, race goals, physiology trend.
• Ambassadorship & Fit – Community impact, professionalism, storytelling (quality > followers).
• Financial Need / Access – Real constraints deserve real support.
Rubric Snapshot: Merit 40 pts · Ambassadorship 35 pts · Need 25 pts.
Tie-breakers: Underrepresented athletes · Community give-back plan · Coachability signals.
